Terms of Service

Renditions (renditions.app, the "Service") is published by EDERA, a French limited liability company (SARL) registered with the Versailles Trade and Companies Register under number 932 318 132, registered office: 20 rue Basse, 78730 Saint-Arnoult-en-Yvelines, France (VAT: FR51932318132). By using the Service you accept these terms.

The Service

Renditions converts HTML files and archives into PDF, JPG and PNG documents by rendering them in a real browser engine. Uploaded files are processed automatically and deleted immediately after conversion, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Plans and quotas

• Free: 1 conversion per day without an account, 3 per day with a free account, files up to 50 MB, no watermark.
• Premium: unlimited conversions for $6 per month billed annually ($72 per year) or $9 per month, subject to fair use. A high daily ceiling protects the Service against automated abuse; genuine human usage will not hit it.

Quotas reset at midnight UTC. We may adjust free-tier limits with reasonable notice on this page; paid features will not be reduced during a period you have already paid for.

Billing and cancellation

Premium subscriptions are billed in US dollars by Stripe, our payment processor. Prices are tax-inclusive; VAT is computed at checkout where applicable. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period. You can cancel anytime from your account page: cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and you keep Premium until then. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the initial purchase; by subscribing you request immediate access to the Service and, if you withdraw within those 14 days, you will be refunded less an amount proportional to the days of Premium already used.

Your content

You keep all rights to the files you upload. You are responsible for having the necessary rights to the content you convert, and you must not use the Service to process content that is illegal or infringes third-party rights.

Acceptable use

You must not attempt to circumvent quotas, probe or disrupt the Service, resell conversions without our agreement, or access the Service by automated means beyond the interfaces we provide. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

Availability and liability

The Service is provided as is, without warranty of uninterrupted availability. We work to keep conversion output faithful to the browser rendering, but exact fidelity on every input cannot be guaranteed. To the extent permitted by law, EDERA's total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, and EDERA is not liable for indirect damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under French law.

Termination

You can stop using the Service anytime, and delete your account yourself from your account page (any active subscription is cancelled in the process) or by writing to thomas@renditions.app. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms, with a refund of any unused paid period except in cases of serious abuse.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Versailles, France, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules that may give you access to the courts of your place of residence. Consumers in France may also use the mediation service of the CNPM (cnpm-mediation-consommation.eu) free of charge.

Changes

We may update these terms; the current version is always available on this page with its date. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance.
